Earlier this spring, Mrs. Moss’ first and second grade class enter the New American Cursive Penmanship Competition. Rubrics for the competition included: excellent cursive writing, accuracy, neatness, correct spelling, word for word copying, making sure i’s were dotted and t’s were crossed. Each school is judged individually and one boy and one girl from each grade chosen. However, just because there may be only one boy or girl in a grade doesn’t automatically make them a winner. The above mentioned rubrics also came into play. This year’s winners are: First Grade: Caitlyn M.; Second Grade: Marina A. and Henry W. Congratulations to our winners. Mrs. Moss will be entering her class again next year.
